Kyoto Station

Kyoto Station.  They had a design competition to find the best design for this station.  It turned out amazing, all of the architectual designs and details.

Kyoto Station Hotel

The Kyoto Station is massive!!  There are so many trains coming in and out of the station.  I think that there were 10 train tracks coming out of this station.  The biggest train station I have ever seen.  The major train stations are like malls.  They have 4 or 5 floors like this one (Kyoto Station) or in the case of the Osaka Station there are 16 floors and 2 towers.  In Osaka the bottom 2 floors are a food market and the in between floors are clothes, shoes (the entire floor full of shoes!!!!), jewelry, books, and then the top 3 floors were full of restaurants.  Each train station are perfect for all of your shopping needs; food, clothes, gifts.  The last picture is, I believe a dance studio/karaoke bar.  The Japanese love there neon lights.  They are everywhere on everything.

Ooooh shoes! I bet you loved it. Did they sell many shoes in 9-10?

I think so but it was set up more like your looked at the shoe and then you had to ask for the size you wanted.
