Zumba

I think that anyone if they have a chance to do it should most definitely participate in Zumba!! It is incredibly fun and a great site to see. Tara and I started it at the end of March up at the Rec District and I have loved it since the first class. It is such a kick in the pants. We had a free dance, usually doesn't happen, but Tara and I brought out some old classics. Running Man, The Carlton, Shopping Cart, Sprinkler, and the Lawn Mower!!! It was hilarious!! Even without the free time it is so much fun to do.

My Birthday Present

Well this is what I got from Bill as my birthday present. A new wedding ring. I love it and am very excited that I have an even more beautiful ring then the one before. This one is more me. I had to share.

Mocha Coffee Pavlova

Well it's my newest dessert creation. I'm making it for Easter lunch for the parents in law. It's a New Zealand and Australian dessert. It's a coffee meringue topped with whipped cream and strawberries. Yum doesn't it sound good. Yes I will have pictures tomorrow and tell you how it was.

It's Been awhile...

Yes sorry it's been awhile since I have written here. I have had multiple things that I wanted to talk about but I haven't gotten a chance to write. A lot has happened since I have last written and some even before the last time I wrote. The earthquake in Japan started it all. We since we live on the Oregon Coast got a tsunami alert in the middle of the night. I got a phone call a little bit before 4 from a co-worker. I was up all night from that phone call. We knew that if something was going to happen between 7 and 8 so the good part of it was that I didn't have to go to work until 9 so I got to show up an hour later then usual. It was a very sad day especially those in Japan. My thoughts are definitely with them!! However, with the whole earthquake in Japan brought up many people talking about the earthquake that the Oregon Coast getting our earthquake. Which we have known that we are going to get the earthquake sometime in the nearish future. So that got everyone talking about starting there disaster totes or bags or whatever. I still have yet to get anything except water. Hahaha...I'm such a procrastinater. The newest thing is that Bill thinks that our Subaru blew our transmission. Yay, for us. No not really. It's going to be so expensive to fix. It will probably wipe out our savings account plus some. Every time we get our savings account up to some imaginery level something happens to where we have to pay for something unexpected and expensive. As my mom says, "well at least you have a saving account, most people don't." I know that and I feel fortunate for that but still. I want my savings account!! I think that that is about it for my life going on right now. Oh and my birthday is in a week. I think that I have some things planned that I'm excited for. I'm excited and will blog about it in a week!!
