So I have a friend that is single. I don't have very many friends that are single anymore, that are in this area, and he is extremely upset about the fact. For awhile we all thought that he wanted help to find a wife or girlfriend whatever you want to call it. So my friend and I decided to try to help and start, not really shoving him at girls but just letting him know that some girls were single and that he should go and talk to them. Now he got tired, annoyed, and upset with us telling him about the girls and trying to set him up but he never told us that we were told that from his sister in law. Therefore we stopped telling him that he should do certain things or that he needed to talk to girls if he wanted a girlfriend. We dropped the whole subject.
So that was a couple of months. Recently I got my hair cut, yesterday, and the girl that cut my hair was also going to cut his later that day. When she was done with mine we called him up and told him to come over so that we could hang out with him and our friend doing the haircuts. He was upset that we kept telling him to come over to the house and eventually got his way because we were tired of arguing about it. He was very persistent. It was odd but whatever. Later my husband and I were at our churches snack and yak, when my husband leaned over to me and said that my friend and I needed to back off from him. Now at first I thought that it was because we were hounding him to come over to have his hair cut. My husband was like no, it's not that, it's that someone had asked him if he had met anyone exciting at the church that he went to that morning. Now that was when I got upset because I hadn't said anything to him. Now I wouldn't have so much of a problem if he told my husband that, I would still be upset of course, but no, it wasn't him it was his mother that told my husband. I found out from my husband that my friend had asked him it he had met anyone at the other church that he went to that day which she didn't do. This whole ordeal had me so upset and crying so much that I went to my friend and ask if she asked him if he met anyone. When I got her on the phone she said no that she hadn't seen him or talked to him recently besides when we all were about the haircut.
She is much better then me with the whole call the source and ask him what happened and confront the problem. Me I hate confrontation and I avoid it at all costs because I tend to cry to much. I do notes.
Therefore, she called him and they talked through things. I guess it was just a misunderstanding taken from his mother which she passed onto my husband which started the whole ordeal. Finally I slightly calmed down and wasn't upset with him anymore. Really it wasn't upset it was hurt well it was a little of both. I became really sad and hurt at his mther by her words and putting my husband into the middle of it.
Now I understand mothers to the point that they get hurt when they see there child hurt and if that child is young enough to say something to maybe the parent of the other child that hurt them but as soon as that child gets old enough to start working out his or her own problems they need to keep there mouth shut. I really like his mother but she is too protective. He is 26. If he has a problem with something that I have said to him or if I have hurt him somehow then he should tell me that not his mother. It is his responsibility. If the mom can't wait or can't control herself then she should actually tell me face to face instead of going through my husband!
I am very hurt to the point that I have to say something usually I can brush it off and slowly get over it by watching a movie or maybe a few movies but this has me all twisted around, hurt, and up at 1 in the morning that I am going to write her a note. Like I said it's easier for me to write a note and cry during that then to tell her face to face and cry. I don't like crying in front of people. To me it shows weakness. Crazy I know, I am!! I am sorry for those of you that actually read all of this. I'm venting, I know, but I just had to. I really like his mom so I don't want this bad air between us at all.
My husband has been good through this and let me cry on his shoulder and yell at him. Which I apologized to him and said that I wasn't yelling at him I was yelling to him about the situation. He felt awful of course because he is just in the middle of everything. He didn't want or have anything to do with it. Poor guy!
Anyway, I am done with my super long tale and vent if you read the whole thing then the ironic, good thing about waking up at 1 in the morning is that I worked out already for today. (Laughing).

Taxes
So this weekend I will hopefully be doing my taxes. You know the sad thing is I actually really look forward to this part every year to see if I get money or if I have to pay which we end up doing both. We need to change Rubber Ducky's W-4 form to claim only 1 instead of 3. He had help on it when he got hired 5 year ago and the lady that helped him told him to always claim 3. Needless to say for the past 3 years we have had to pay for federal. Luckily we get money back from State so it evens itself out.
This year I think that we will get about the same amount as last year hopefully and with the money that we get back, which is usually about 500 dollars, we are going to pay off Rubber Ducky's parents. Our washer died last year in July and they loaned us the money to buy a new washer and dryer therefore we have been paying them off since July. We don't have very much left so it will be exciting to have at least one bill paid and done for!! Next one to go is our Bank of America credit card. I'm excited to see them disappear one by one. It makes me feel like I'm accomplishing things. We are hoping to refinance this next year in June or July so hopefully our payments go down and then we are going to incorporate our credit cards into it so the only debts that we have left is the car and the house! It will be an exciting day to see that!!
Anyway that's my plan. I am hoping that it works out.

Week 4
So Yay, I have lost another pound so I am now down to 220. I am almost into the teens. I am still trying to figure out how to go from one pound to two pounds every week though. If you have any suggestions let me know. I'm counting points which is great and then I work out an hour everyday. That's about all I do and my mind is blank to think of something else. I guess I could still get more active with day to day things. Anyway, Yay for me!!!

Hamster Experimenting
"One day will be exciting. One day will be great." Andy thought while he was driving down the road to a friends house to stay for a weekend. Pulling into the long steep driveway towards the almost looking castle he felt a chill creep down his spine. As he pulled up to the front door the gardener was standing there in the bushes staring at him. The creepiness of his figure and face were astonishing in the amount of hair all over him.
"Very wolf man-esk," Andy taunted. "Did you forget to take your costume off after Halloween."
The gardener turned and smiled devilishly. Andy was sure he winked, but turned quickly to walk the three steps to the gate and buzzed the intercom. The butler answered the door with a grimace on his face. "Please come in, sir." He said with a drawled out tone. "He is in the parlor, sir. Please follow me." Andy followed him taking in the massive high ceilings and off pictures hanging all over the walls. Pictures of odd relatives with bushman hair and missing appendages. Whoever painter them must have went for the scary vampire look. Each one was pale, earthier eyes following his every move. He arrived at the parlor sooner then expected, nearly tripping over an over sized cat. The cat hissed and jumped up on his legs scratching them. "AHHH!" He yelled out. "Bruno, down." Zek calmly told the cat. Bruno jumped down hissing again. "Wow, Zek that cat is really obeying you."
"Andy glad you were able to make it up here so fast."
"No problem I really needed to get out of the house. What's withe menagerie of freakish staff? What did you get out of high school and start experimenting on people instead of hamsters." Andy said jokingly.
"Actually yes." Zek stated slowly.
"Wow, huh, interesting. That's great. So great weather we've been having lately, huh?"
"Sure, Andy. Our staff has lots of perks being experimented on."
"Really. Do they do tricks?"
"Yes." Zek said matter of fact.
While Zek turned to call the butler in Andy tried to wipe the look of astonishment off of his face before Zek noticed. "How on earth do you go from genetically altering hamsters to playing God with human DNA." Andy thought. The butler came in and suddenly Andy noticed the familiarity..."Muff Muff! My Muff Muff!!"
Andy couldn't help but laugh at the sounds the butler was exuding from him. The butler and Zek quickly looked at him. Andy quickly wiped the smile from his face and instantly stopped laughing. Zek smiled, "Please follow me Andy." Zek slowly walked down hallways, up stairs, down stairs, everywhere it seemed. "Here we have arrived."
"Where are we?"
"Your room, don't you recognize it." In a flash Andy was the size of a mouse and locked in a cage. "HELP, HELP!!!" He screamed...then woke up.

Underworld: Rise of the Lichans
Underworld 3. It was actually half decent. I enjoyed all of the action and then some. The story falls into place and helps the first and second movie make a lot more sense. I am glad that they made it. However, There was one scene that I could have done without. Of course you guessed it, the sex scene. So much more then I wanted to see. However, if you can skip over that part I think that the movie is completely worth it. Go and watch it you won't be sorry.
City girl gives it between 1 and a 10, with a 10 being the highest, I give it an 9. If it hadn't have had the sex scene I probably would have given it a 10.

Superbowl Sunday
So this Sunday is Superbowl Sunday. I absolutely love this Sunday. All the food the best commercials of the year or it's great. However the half time show was the losiest show I have ever seen. Whatever his name was who did the singing was atrocious sounding. Although it was better, well not better, then the Janet Jackson debacle. Yikes. These halftime shows are getting worse ever year.
This year the Superbowl has fizzled out once again. Usually it is strong the first half with a lot of people and then by the second half/halftime show everyone goes home or moves on. So now it is just Rubber Ducky, Ratchet and myself hanging out watching the second half of the Superbowl at Ratchets bachelor pad. Everyone here is rooting for the Cardinals except for me. I am roooting for the Steelers!!!! So far so good but you know how games can be so its up in the air for who is going to win.
Keep you updated on who wins but I'm sure that you will already know.
